Easter was a special time for children’s action songs, children learn many different social skills with T. P. R. (Total Physical Response) Activities.
They learn to be quiet, listen, follow directions, take turns, cooperate,, stop, sit, and much more. A fun children’s action song that helps children to follow directions is Hot cross Buns Children love to interact with the adults around them. These songs allow adults and children to play, sing, be silly, be creative, and just enjoy each other’s company in a fun and endearing way that fosters and strengthens bonding.
I asked children to share the song with their families, so they did and after 2 weeks, they were playing the song among themselves. It always surprises me how fast they can learn if there’s some “doing” connected.
